Could Superbon defend the world title?

Thai boxer Superbon (real name Suppachai Meunsang) used to be in a diverse army of muay thai fighters, with modest earnings, victories and defeats in insignificant stadiums, daily training and dreams of meeting in the ring with the world's elite champions of champions such as Saenchai, Singdam, Kaew Fairtex, Suppachai and others.

Looks like a destiny has prepared its own plans for a professional fighter, which included not only acquaintance with Buakaw Banchamek, but also world wide recognition.

Superbon or Suppachai was born in the province of Patthalung (Thailand), his parents were engaged in agriculture, in the evenings the fighter's father watched Thai boxing tournaments and was a real fan of this martial art. According to Superbon, it was the father who revealed the boxing potential in his son and motivated him to take up Thai boxing. At the age of 16, the Thai boxer moved to live in Bangkok, at the age of 18 he entered the university, studied, trained at the same time and performed in the ring. After graduating from university at 23, Superbon was faced with the choice of continuing to pursue a professional fighting career or go into business.

Over four years of training in the Banchamek Gym and performances in the international arena of kickboxing and Muay Thai, Superbon has achieved amazing results: in 2015, 2016, 2017 he becomes the world champion at the Amateur Muay Thai World Championships, as well as the champion of the X World Games in Wroclaw (Poland) in 2017, twice the winner of the professional Kunlun Fight tournaments and the champion of this organization, takes the first line of the Liverkick lightweight rating. Superbon has won over such famous Muay Thai and kickboxing athletes as David Kiria, Muhammed Kamal, Artem Pashporin, Jomtong, Cedric Manhoef, Sittichai, Khayal Dzhaniev, Umar Semata and others.

Now the average fee of a Superbon fighter per fight is up to one million baht or 30 thousand dollars, in addition to his professional career, the fighter continues to represent the country in amateur competitions. Most likely the so-called "Buakaw's student" and "Chinese kickboxing prodigy" has all the prerequisites to leave a mark on the history of modern Thai boxing as a Muay Thai legend of the twenty-first century.
