It's been really hard to find a good pair of bag gloves that aren't typical boxing gloves. I got really used to closed thumb bag gloves that have a wrist strap and not just elastic. Hitting a bag and focus mitts really allow you to punch correctly as you're not so padded by the glove you rely on the glove for proper punching. You're forced to have a proper fist and good wrist alignment when you punch. But it still gives you good knuckle protection. It's also good for light sparring as you're able to grab and trap and even some soft/light weapon sparring. (Definitely not for full sparring!) These gloves are great. I had an old pair that finally wore out on me and it's been hard to find a pair that work just as well. Fairtex makes a decent pair, but they didn't fit just right. These Top Kings are the Goldilocks for me! They are not too bulky, not weak, not too loose. They are just right. Super Exports Shop also delivered them in super fast time. (I paid a little extra for shipping, but well worth it.)
